Ikusi performs demerger of its transport operations and names it Trebide
The company, based in Donostia-San Sebastián, will continue to grow in the sector, integrating technological solutions for operating infrastructure for airports, roads, trains, and ports.
Ikusi has performed a demerger of its transport operations and named it Trebide in order to strengthen its growth in the sector. Trebide’s business activity centers on integrating technological solutions for managing and operating transport infrastructures such as airports, roads, trains, and ports, and onboard trains, and for the security of critical infrastructures.
Ikusi will thus consolidate its position as a brand specializing in the field of advanced technology services, to boost digitalization and ensure cybersecurity, offering organizations efficient, robust, and secure business networks. Ikusi will continue to be led by Iñaki Maiz, CEO of the company.
Trebide has been born out of the demerger from Ikusi and will operate as an independent company within Velatia. According to its Managing Director, Fernando Asenjo, “With the new brand we have updated and renewed the company’s business proposition, with a consolidated track record in the transport and security sector, and it gives us the opportunity to grow with its own brand”.
Trebide is based in Donostia-San Sebastián, with offices in Leioa, Barcelona, Madrid, and Santiago de Chile, a team of 95 people, and projects alongside institutions and major companies in more than 10 countries. At year-end 2023, this business activity represented 10% of Ikusi’s consolidated turnover.
