Ikusi and service providers in Mexico, natural partners
Gustavo Valdez Managing Director at Ikusi Mexico
According to Mexico’s Federal Telecommunications Institute (IFT), the number of mobile broadband lines will grow by 6.3% by the end of 2024, an increase of 15.7 million on 2022, reaching 135.5 million lines in total; that is, 102 lines per 100 inhabitants.
Mobile telephone service lines are expected to grow at a rate of 2.2%, from the close of 2022 to the close of 2024, representing 6.1 million more lines than that reported in 2022, to reach 142.1 million lines and 107 lines per 100 inhabitants by the end of 2024.
These growth forecasts will most likely be reinforced by the increased use of other technologies, such as the Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI) and augmented reality (AR), as well as the use of services that use telecommunications networks such as mobile banking.
These forecasts by the Federal Telecommunications Institute highlight the critical importance of connectivity, the core of any network, and its capacity to drive the growth of the telecommunications sector. Without it, without connectivity, the operations of organizations would come to a halt. Ikusi recognizes this reality and has developed a robust solution that ensures reliable and continuous connectivity. Its in-depth understanding of how a network works enables it to design and manage infrastructures that ensure maximum uptime and optimal performance.
This is particularly important with regard to telecommunications operators and service providers, who play an essential role in today’s economies. It is hard to imagine the life of citizens or of the diverse economic sectors without the services, they provide.
At Ikusi, this is a reality that we know first-hand, because we have been operating as their strategic allies for decades, providing them with advanced solutions and making critical investments such as, for example, in licenses, which represents significant benefit for their clients.
Ikusi supports the IFT’s efforts with regard to the radio spectrum and deployment of new technologies and participates alongside the IFT in committees with operators, providing its experience and capacity for developing 5G, IoT I4.0 and FWA emerging technology initiatives, among others.
The value of experience
Through our history and expertise, Ikusi understands the complexities and challenges of this sector. We know that service providers require solid, specialized experience and the ability to execute projects with no margin for error. Because errors in this area can have major repercussions, since they can affect thousands of users and generate high costs.
Which is why we have a team of highly skilled professionals who manage and execute large-scale projects with precision and efficiency.
Ikusi has proven to be a highly valuable partner for service providers in Mexico. They recognize Ikusi’s capacity in three strategic areas for their business: provision of the infrastructure supporting the services, generation of offerings to go to market and end-customer service. We provide services and technological solutions for connecting, processing and managing information securely, and are capable of building robust and powerful infrastructures on which to base solutions and services that create greater value for businesses, by applying technology to critical business processes and exploiting the information generated.
Ikusi completes its proposal with a comprehensive security concept with deep understanding of the behavior of networks and applications that allows the early detection of anomalies.
